1. A booking deposit
of €100 per house per week is required to reserve accommodation. The
balance of rental is payable 6 weeks before arrival. A confirmation will
be issued upon receipt of deposit.
N.B. Failure to pay by the due date may result in loss of
booking!
2. Notice of
cancellation must be in writing. The following charges will then apply:

3. The holiday home
that you are renting is fitted with Gold Shield Electric Heating & Lighting
(reduced price electricity). The charges for electricity used will be
payable to the owner/supervisor. The meter will be read on arrival and
departure.
The
holiday home is also equipped with a solid fuel stove. Care should be
taken when opening the door and altering the dampers of the stove. The
tool supplied should always be used for this purpose.
4. Client
Responsibilities: Always look after the property. This means you must
keep all furniture, fittings and effects, (inside and outside the
property) in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of
the holiday. You must leave the property in the same state of cleanliness
and general order in which you found it. The owner can make an additional
cleaning charge of €30 and/or make a claim against you for the repair or
loss as a result of damaged caused.
5. A security
deposit of €100.00 must be given to the owner/supervisor on arrival. This
will be returned to you provided the owner/supervisor is satified that the terms and conditions of rental have
been complied with. In the event that the owner/supervisor is unable to
check the holiday home on the client's departure, the security deposit
balance will be forwarded to the client within 7 days by Post, in Euro
currency.
6. Rental of a
holiday home may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the
owner/supervisor if the client/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, cause damage to the
property or in any other circumstance deemed reasonable by the owner/supervisor.
7. On the expiry or
other termination of rental, the owner/supervisor may remove all
belongings of the client/occupiers left on the property and store or
otherwise deal with the same as deemed appropriate. Notwithstanding the
aforesaid the sole risk in respect of such belongings shall at all times
remain with the client/occupiers.
8. Possession of the
holiday home must be taken between 16:00 hours and 20:00 hours and
vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure. It is recommended that
clients telephone the owner/supervisor in advance to confirm exact time

9. The owners are
not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the holiday
home during the stay or on departure. Please note that we have a policy
of not posting items that are left behind except that payment is made in
advance. Any items left in the property will have to be collected within
1 month of departure. A combination safe is provided free of charge in
each holiday home for storing valuables.
10. The
owner/supervisor may at all reasonable times visit the holiday home
during the stay.
11. The maximum
number of people occupying, including children, in each holiday home must not exceed six (6).
12. Please fill out the
comment card supplied or write to the owner, with your comments on the
general service you experienced. Your comments will be appreciated and
your constructive criticisms will be helpful in insuring an even better
product next year.
13. We regret that pets
are not allowed.
14. The information
folders for all the appliances in the holiday home are in the drawer of
the writing desk. It is recommended that they be read by the
client/occupiers. Should there be a problem, contact the
owner/supervisor.
15. Childs cot and
high chair can be provided at a cost of €15. Linen is not supplied for
the cot.
16. A mobile phone
can be rented from the owner/supervisor at a cost of €15 per week. All
the call cards for the phone can be purchased locally.
17. The timer for the
hot water and heating is pre-set by the Electrical Supply Board (E.S.B)
and should not be tampered with as it is set up to avail of the cheaper
electricity and heating used at off-peak times. If there is a problem,
contact the owner/supervisor.
